Ortopedų Traumatologų society was founded in Lithuaniain 1992. The establishment of the Organizations goal was to unite all ortopedus traumatologus, to organize scientific, conferences, vocational training, and to represent the interests of the specialty of public institutions.
Currently, the organization brings together the 270 members.
The organisationis headed by a President, elected by the doc. Kevin Tarasevičiusin 2012 and 10 members of the Board (Vice President, Valentin Uvarov, members: Alfred Smailys,Narūnas Porvaneckas,Vidmantas Žegunis,RebeccaV, RobertSmith, Mikalauskas, Kurtinaitis Algimantas Čebatorius,Giedrius Kvederas,Justin Stučinskas).
Todays goal is to study the Organization of scientific conferences and active participation in the political processes in representing clients in need of orthopaedic traumatologinė support.
The mainaim of the Lithuanian Society of Ortopedų Traumatologųits perfectly well-trained doctors in the community, providing the best possible service to patients.
