Maine Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons MSOS
The Maine Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons became incorporated, in 1992, and represents over 100 orthopaedic surgeons practicing in the state of Maine.
This organization serves to foster communication and interaction among its members and to promote the education of practitioners of orthopaedics in our state.
The MSOS holds an Annual Meeting each fall and has also participated in the Orthopaedic Education Program at Sugarloaf each winter since 1990.
The MSOS serves as a liaison for Maine’s orthopaedic surgeons with regard to policy development; our officers include a representative to the AAOS Board of Councilors who is involved in legislation and planning at the national level.
