Portuguese Association of Veterinary Practitioners Specialists in Companion Animals APMVEAC
The Portuguese Association of Veterinary Practitioners Specialists in Companion Animals (APMVEAC) is a non-profit technical-scientific association. APMVEAC was founded on October 29, 1990.
The objective of the Association is to develop the scientific and socio-cultural level of veterinarians dedicated to pet animals, especially in the fields of prophylaxis, canine and feline surgery, small mammals, birds, reptiles and other pet animals, as well as To promote the veterinary and veterinary activity in companion animals to the Portuguese community in general, in the areas of Animal Welfare, Public Health, Ethics, Wildlife and Preservation.
