Swiss Society for Neurosurgery SSN SGNC
About
Swiss Society of Neurosurgery
The Swiss Society of Neurosurgery was founded in 1954. The company has set itself the goal of promoting neurosurgery, planning the neurosurgical care of Switzerland and representing specialist medical interests. This means, among other things, to promote subject-specific teaching, further education, training and research in neurosurgery, as well as teaching and research in close collaboration with the clinical neurosciences, especially neurology and neuroradiology. It also advocates the planning and supervision of the training of young neurosurgeons and the completion of the examination to obtain the title of Specialist Doctor.
The SGNC organizes annual business meetings for its members, supplemented by further education and training on changing topics. In addition, the annual meeting takes place together with another, socially related society.
